| As the kits described on this site kits are manufactured by hand a significant percentage of vee skip (the resin part) 'seconds' are generated. These usually have an air bubble or two often resulting in a 'bit missing' but are fine for lineside use where such holes could be filled or left as rust perforation. Most industrial narrow gauge railways have a dumping ground somewhere for life-expired skips - the chassis, being fabricated from steel section rather than thin sheet, often go on longer and are redeployed either as home-made skip variants or fitted with new skips and re-used. When available these may be purchased one pack per first quality kit ordered for an additional £1. Check availability with me on email before sending your order or send £1 in stamps (to be returned if none available). |

| IMPORTANT NOTES: These items are sold as non-perfect seconds. Each casting will have one or more defect typically surface and/or internal air bubbles and/or be mis-shapen and/or have pieces broken off at the edge. Please note the seconds are only available from time to time and only when ordered with at least one first quality kit. |
