| This motor bogie was initially designed to fit the Meridian/Maquette Billard T75 and Meridian 40HP Simplex kits but is also a useful general purpose chassis. It has the same wheelbase as the old Grafar motor bogie (although a larger superstructure). The chassis is a simple fold-up construction. Brackets are provided for mounting the chassis to the Billard or 40HP Simplex kits, and can be adapted to mount in other locos. The chassis can be used with DCC. A low value dropper resistor is included with the kit as this improves running with feedback controllers. |
