Re-motoring a Bachmann    HO/Gn15 bogie
tm
This sequence of photos shows how to re-motor a Bachmann HO scale GE44 bogie using the standard Bachmann remotor kit.   This bogie and the very similar 70 tonner bogie are used by Gn15 modellers as a basis for various 4 wheel narrow gauge locos. An additional hole must be drilled in the base but otherwise the construction is standard.  Fold one of the thick packing pieces in half to form the packing piece shown.  The photos can all be enlarged by clicking on them.  Use these photos in conjunction with the Bachmann remotor kit instructionsEmail me if you have any questions.
